Yash Raj Films’ superhit franchise ‘Mardaani’ is now ready to return with its third installment. The official release date of the Rani Mukerji-starrer ‘Mardaani 3’ has been announced. The film will release in theaters on January 30th. For the past decade, this franchise has been known for its powerful, female-centric stories and has achieved cult status among audiences. In ‘Mardaani 3’, Rani Mukerji will once again be seen in the role of the fearless police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy.
This time, the story is said to be even darker, more violent, and more thrilling. According to the makers, the film will depict a dangerous confrontation between good and terrifying evil, where Shivani will be seen fighting against time to save several missing girls in the country. Rani Mukerji has already stated that ‘Mardaani 3’ will be an edge-of-your-seat thriller that will keep the audience hooked till the very end. The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra. The first installment of ‘Mardaani’ dealt with the serious issue of human trafficking, while the second part shook the audience with the story of a psychopathic criminal.
