Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna’s romantic drama film The Girlfriend is set to release soon. The makers recently released the trailer for the film. Rashmika released the trailer on her official Instagram account. In the caption, she wrote, “This is not an ordinary love story, it will make you think.” The trailer for The Girlfriend is out now. Actor Dheekshit Shetty stars alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.
The 2-minute, 39-second trailer features Rashmika as Bhooma and Dheekshit as Vikram. The film will release in theaters on November 7th. Anu Emmanuel also plays a key role in the film. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The trailer shows Vikram (Dhixit) as a torrid, dominating, arrogant, violent, and suspicious boyfriend, while Bhuma is a simple and innocent girl burdened by a torrid relationship. The trailer begins with Rashmika (Bhumma) hesitantly asking Vikram, “Can we take a break?”
Vikram responds, “Break means a break from one another.” The story then flashes back to Vikram proposing to Bhuma, saying, “The day after tomorrow is an auspicious time, let’s get married.” Vikram has complete trust in Bhuma, but Bhuma hesitates to call him “boyfriend.” The film is written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, and cinematography by Krishnan Vasanth. The Girlfriend promises to be an emotional story that will delve into the complexities of love and relationships.
